We at the Asona Group are informed of a video provided through the auspices of the United Nations: www.stopdisastersgame.org. We continue to research this game and determine the continuing congruencies between these initiatives and the ACE Plan (particularly the city grid project and computer simulated games near therein).
Some additional individuals, families, and organisations of note in this respect include: Taking IT Global (also with the United Nations), www.takingitglobal.org; Positive News Youth Views Ezine (also with the United Nations), www.pnyv.org; and Youth Action for Change (with Oxfam International), www.youthactionforchange.org.
Also, there are a number of additional initiatives and programmes that are being included within the framework of the ACE Plan:
1.) Urban Stream Renewals: this initiative reestablishes the natural streams within metropolitan areas respectively leading to the larger collections of water (rivers, lakes, and oceans) within metropolitan areas. This substantially involves 1.) bringing natural streams from underground sewers and tunnels back to the natural surface level, 2.) constructing necessary bridges and other pathways to accommodate these natural streams, and 3.) enhancing the natural environment around the streams.
2.) Toilet Composting Systems: this initiative pertains to establishing innovative and practical methodologies for utilising human feces directly as compost for agriculture. This involves 1.) practical and initial separation of paper and similarly reusable products from within the bathroom, 2.) practical and initial separation of plastics and similarly difficultly reusable products from within the bathroom, and 3.) pragmatically and conveniently separating fecal matter from the toilet and storing it in effective compost facilities.
3.) University Pasture Programme: this programme establishes stables of livestock (substantially sheep and goats) at colleges and universities that respectively maintain campuses with a considerable amount of green space. This also includes the implementation of organic and additional agriculture on university campuses, particularly as a means of providing groundskeepers with continuing, similar employment.
On another note, we at the Asona Group within this InterFaith Settlement are always hiring. One of our recruiting slogans is that we are looking for students who always have a good excuse for being late. An interview is unnecessary. You can simply look at the training process described at one of the web log sites of the Asona Group within this InterFaith Settlement: www.asonagroupinterFaithsettlement.blogspot.com. You maintain the authority of declaring when you complete the training, and upon such, you maintain the credentials of declaring yourself respectively a fellow (exclusively for men) or a filla (exclusively for women) of the Asona Group within this InterFaith Settlement.
With humble and benevolent regards, Idwata,
Peter Frank Womack (fellow with the Asona Group within this InterFaith Settlement)
